The trash and recycling bins were on the sidewalk in front of the house this evening (Thursday). Since the bins were full and their trash day is Monday, I suspect the bins were placed out 4 days early.

Part of the locust tree at Third and Jackson fell into Jackson Street Sunday evening. We have cleared one lane for traffic.

I just moved to 2nd and Swain. The corner needs a stop sign for all ways, not just for traffic on Swain. Most of the intersections along 2nd have 4-way stops; this intersection is the exception for some reason. Drivers go way faster than the 25mph allowed; the area is quite congested with students moving back into the area.
