3-4 large dogs in fenced in back yard. Dog waste accumulates and smells so bad that the neighbors can't sit outside. Complainants say they have called animal control several times. HAND has also referred 3 previous complaints to animal control with no response. JIM: Please let me know if this is something we can address (or need to, based on investigating the complaint) through BMC & Animal control or if it has to become a civil matter between the neighbors. At this location, last summer was installed a crosswalk, and concrete was poured in the middle of the road. This project appears to have been done for months, however, traffic cones and barricades still sit there. It's extremely unsightly, if the project is over, can't they be taken away?

The alley across from me (I’m at 1109 S Madison) has uneven pavement which causes many cars to “bottom out.” There is loose gravel in the alley that gets pushed to the bottom of the alley when it rains. It would be so nice to have pavement instead of a chipped pavement/gravel hybrid. Thanks for any direction you can provide!
