Is it possible to have a crosswalk painted on 3rd at Rose? Today I saw a blind person trying to make the crossing. Per the email below, a few years ago, it seemed this was a possibility. Yes. Request for Street Sweeping in the Bike Lanes on Walnut, College and Rogers. The increase of downtown construction has lead to more debris and gravel in the bike lane - getting to the point it's not worth riding in the bike lane which is upsetting morning drivers since I'm now taking up one of the lanes on my bike. I've gotten two flats in the past week due to large gravel/glass and other hazardous material in the roadway.

Two youngish trees in the tree strip on 4th street, NW corner of 4th ST. and the alley between Grant and Dunn Streets (in front of Korea Restaurant). These two trees have had multiple dead wood branches for some time and dead wood needs to be removed. Now the tree closest to the alley appears to be dying. It looked fine last week, but this week all the leaves are turning brown.

Going west on 17th Street, just before the overpass over 37/69, I did not see a street sign for Crescent Rd. and missed my turn. If there is a sign there, I did not see it anywhere. Needs a street sign!

A couple of weeks ago, the city (I assume it was the city) cut down a large tree along High Street, a short distance north of Hillside. They left these logs perched precariously on a bank, where it looks as if they are in danger of tumbling into the street, in the path of some unsuspecting motorist. I assumed they'd be safely cleared away quickly, but a couple of weeks have gone by and they're still there.

In the parking lot on the north side of the Showers building there are trucks blocking the handicap parking spaces and ramp as well as most of the 2 hour spots. There are no city signs warning people that the spots are closed. A handicapped visitor with a wheelchair is unable to park unless they park in a red lot space and risk getting a ticket but even if they do park there, they can't access the building since the ramp is blocked.

Hello: I was in communication with Christina Smith last fall regarding a street light that needs to be installed on S. Fess Ave. Preferably 821 S. Fess Ave., as that is the middle of the block. The 800 block of S. Fess is totally pitch black, unless there is a full moon. I'm not sure why this completely dark street, with two homebound senior citizens living on it (my neighbors), hasn't become a priority for a street light. Please consider taking care of this soon. Dear Parks and Rec, Thanks for getting new pool lounge chairs at Bryan Park Pool! The other moms and I were just about over the broken old ones. Hopefully these new ones will last longer than the previous ones, which were almost always broken. The new ones have a better design. At high traffic times, I noted that people were still wandering around to find somewhere to sit or lay. Perhaps ordering a dozen more would be a good idea. Additionally, though people can certainly bring their own lawn chairs, I think it would be a good idea to have a dozen regular plastic chairs available for people who cannot sit comfortably on the low-to-the-ground pool lounge chairs. It's hard for grandparents or people with limited mobility to get up and down from the loungers. Thank you, Lucy Fischman 823 S. Fess Ave.
