Hello, I just moved to a new home. I am not sure if the side walk and curbs are safe in this neighborhood. There is no sign for speed limit and the curb itself is not safe. I feel really unsafe to leave the kids alone outsife.
Small but probably going to grow sinkhole on the west side of S. Eastside Drive, in the 700 block at the corner of University.
The traffic cycles were not functioning properly at approx. 5:10pm, which caused traffic delays in all directions. No green light was given for eastbound 10th St. traffic for several minutes even though the left-turn arrow cycled properly.
Light 143 on the B-Line trail is covered with moss and not providing light to the trail.
A gang tag that I have seen around town, spray painted in black on the front of the little gray aluminum sided house I rent, in a previously safe area. There needs to be a pedestrian walk light in the walk way across 10th Street from Kelley to the library. As it currently stands, pedestrians block the flow of traffic for as much a 15 minutes--and I mean, literally, zero cars get through. Not only does this contribute to the already congested traffic on campus, it is a hazard to every pedestrian, as well as the cars. The traffic from this walkway often extends west to Indiana Ave. and 7th Street and east to Crosstown Shopping Center. Cars block the intersections and it creates hazards for everyone. Students haphazardly cross the road without looking or paying attention because the walkway basically gives them carte blanche to do so. It only takes one driver not paying attention for a very bad incident to occur. I know I am not the first person to complain about this and when an incident happens, everyone will look to the Street Division and wonder why no one has ever done anything to fix this situation. All it takes is some sort of flashing light at the walkway similar to a cross walk that periodically stops pedestrian traffic and allows traffic through. Thank you.

While traveling West on Kirkwood, just prior to Rogers, on the North side of the street is the curb bump out to protect the parking spots. It needs to be paint yellow ( the curb) to alert motorists about an object in the road. One can easily see that it had been hit by many a tire and rim.
