Hello, I'm a second-year tenant of a house on S Woodlawn Ave. The walk home at night is very dangerous because there are no street lights once you get south of Atwater Ave. As a larger man, I luckily do not have to worry as much as about being abducted by any predators. However, I still worry about getting struck by a car because of the lack of visibility on the streets and sidewalks. We have guests that are women that fear coming to our house at night because of how dark the street gets and they could easily be abducted in the dark. My roommates and I often find ourselves having to walk guests to Atwater for them to feel safe. It is a public safety issue and I'm requesting that street lights are installed on Woodlawn Ave for a minimum of 5 blocks south of Atwater. Woodlawn is a highly trafficked area not only by cars, but pedestrians too. I'm a policy analysis major and would love to be involved in any research or implementation needed to solve this issue. I reported power lines/wires within reach of the sidewalk off Rogers very close to the front of the entrance to switchyard park over a month ago. This seems like a very serious issue. Why hasn’t anything been done about this? Has been like this for 6+ months! It’s sad to think there are people working for the city that see this as anything other than an emergency situation.

There is an aggressive cat in our neighborhood. It is gray with white markings - chest is white. I've never gotten a great look at it. It's fast. I'm aware of 4 attacks on other cats over the last few months: my neighbor's cat was attacked, my own cat was attacked (required stitches), the cat came into another neighbor's house through a cat door and tangled with a cat in the house (I saw it then also and tried to capture it but failed), and this morning my wife heard/saw it attacking another neighborhood cat. I don't know if it belongs to a neighbor or is just wild. I don't see it often.

The corner of 7th and Clark. When driving east on 7th street, the bushes on the south side of the road make it very difficult to see this intersection. I’m afraid a car may come north on Clark and not be able to see traffic coming down 7th St.

Is there anyway the city can paint parking lines on 100 W. 8th street? Before the paved this road, there were lines and since they paved this I believe last year, the city has neglected to doing this causing vehicles at times to take up two spaces. This has been mainly an issue at night. Please look into this. Also, the blue curb for the handicap space is extremely faded and really needs to be repainted.

Heavy, metal sign support with three sandbags has been sitting on the sidewalk for weeks. It blocks wheelchairs and is hazardous at night. Please ask whatever department that left it there to remove it. Thank you.

Retaining wall is collapsing on NW corner of property. Sidewalk has been blocked for weeks, preventing wheelchair traffic and posing a dangerous situation, as it is hard to see in the dark and is unavoidable.

Trash piled up by the street (SE corner of property by the large, red maple. Wild animals can dig through it. Tenants are habitually leaving trash out on the property.
