Parks & Playgrounds

Switchyard Park

Case Date:
9/10/2020

I understand that the dog park at Switchyard park is new and that the grass still needs to grow and be healthy. However, myself and fellow dog owners are concerned with how much the sprinklers are running. It's turning the dog park into a swampy mess. This morning when I went with my dog Bailey, the big tree was completely flooded around it and the far field near the hill was ver swampy and muddy. I couldn't even walk through the grass with him. He ended up twisting his foot in the wetness. I really believe it's just oversaturated. When I take my dog to the park, I'd love to be able to run around with him without us both coming home completely covered in mud.

Seminary Park

Case Date:

People putting up Tents and spending the night at seminary park. I thought public parks had a curfew?!?! If not, how do we make reservations as me and about 50 friends want to set up rvs/tents and spend the weekend? Does it have electricity and water hookup?

Trash

100 N Bryan AVE

Case Date:
9/10/2020

100 N Bryan Ave has had a beer pong set up in their yard for more than a week and a half. You can’t see in this photo, but the lawn is strewn with beer cans and solo cups. It’s a neighborhood eyesore and my child’s bus stops picks up and drops off next to this mess everyday.

City Construction Projects

507 E Kirkwood AVE

Case Date:
9/10/2020

Bricks surrounding this sewer grate in front of our local business were missing on Sunday 9/6/20. A city staff member who was in his truck next door offered to temporarily remedy it and came back to do so...the brickwork is not finished and needs to be professionally installed, as it's still a hazard to pedestrians. Too much space sits between the bricks and they are not securely in place. Thank you (and JD Boruff) for working on this, and past sidewalk issues along this block of East Kirkwood.

Other

1112 N Lindbergh DR

Case Date:
9/10/2020

I wish to report this as a "noise violation" to Capt. Pedigo. I think he will understand this report. There is a very loud red Dodge pickup truck that parks along the northbound side of Lindbergh St. The loudness of the truck is a massive disturbance to myself and the neighborhood. Why? He comes and goes all day and into the night. Back and forth and back and forth. Around and around and around. That much travel in and out of our neighborhood doesn't make for a very peaceful life here. Not only does he come and go constantly, but he revs the engine which is loud just by itself, and often peals out. It's a red Dodge pickup truck, badly beat up with a mismatched right rear wheel. It's extremely loud and disturbs the peace. Could you check into it for us? Thank you.
