Someone is amassing a pile of leaves by blowing them into the middle of the street. I think--but do not know--that it is the residents at 1908. Is the city planning to pick up leaves in the street this year?
The leaves have been removed. Thank you.
A few homes have mounded their leaves on the the street. Rather than bagging or mulching. They are going to be in the storm drain with the upcoming rain. Please have them remove their leaves from the street
most, or all of the storm drains on this street are completely full, up to street level, of dead leaves.
Leaves and trash clutter North Adams Street near the Indiana Railroad Tressel. The leaves on West 8th Street are a safety hazard.
For many years we have been putting out yard waste bags for pickup on designated. Never was there a problem. That is, until about six weeks ago. The excuse given was that the materials were against the house. That was not true. This Wednesday, today, we put two yard waste bags put placing them in front of our recycling and trash bins. They are (present tense because the bags were not taken) clearly visible. In fact, the recycling personnel had to reach around the waste bags to retrieve the bin to empty. Why the awful service the past few weeks?? Our adjacent neighbor, who is caring for an ailing spouse, did not have hers picked up either. Granted hers is not totally visible. But it is in a spot where their bags usually have been placed. Please resume the fine service you offered until six weeks ago.
Fall leaves and the tree seed that falls with the leaves can be used to reforest idle land, no mow zones, and natural areas in Bloomington Parks, other city properties and private properties. This idea can help both the city and private home owners to make a positive use of Fall leaves to complete the urban forest canopy. Mixtures of tree seed and leaves spread in layers on land will produce dense stands of native trees. Please forward this idea to Joanna Sparks, Haskell Smith, Gillian Field, Beth Cote. I am willing to meet with them to discuss the details of how to use Fall leaves and tree seed to expand the urban forest in Bloomington. Thank you, Ray Major Forester Trees From Seed on Facebook
I thought the city was suppposed to be collecting bagged leaves? I have 8 bags accumulated at the curb but none have been picked up so far. 2927 N Ramble Rd W
