A small redbud tree in the grass strip on Essex Court has died and is in need of replacement. Additionally at least one old crabapple tree to the west on Allendale between Westminster Dr and Sowder Sq. had also died. Both spots seem like good candidates for replacement trees as well.
Over the holiday weekend, we had yet another water main break in Hyde Park Village. Happy to report that CBU was quick on the scene fix the problem and mostly cleaned up the mess. I would like to speak with someone regarding the issues as this was our second water main break in two weeks. I am the president of Hyde Park Village homeowners association. Hello! We are having difficulty getting in and out of the driveway and through the sidewalk due to the City tree line. I'm not sure this is the best place to report this concern but it was the only place I could find :)
The construction contractor has placed the Road Closed barricades in two of the three lanes on High St. at the Hillside intersection. This is impeding the flow of traffic and is going to cause an accident. Once three cars fill the left turn lane, High St. is effectively blocked to North/South travel. There is now only more traffic going North on High St. with the roundabout closure. Please have the barricades removed or placed to the sides of the road. If someone cannot read the road closure signage properly, they will have to pay the price once they reach the closed roundabout.
We have no water. I know the city has been working on a break. The water advisory for our area has been lifted. Yet, we still have no water.
all of building c hasnt had hot water in a week and a half. i have children, we cant clean,cook or anything. they have NO real.answers about when it will be fixed. they said bottom of hot water heater rusted out from leaking water, buy a new one sooner than a week and a half now. legally this is child neglect. i cannot care for my one and 3 year old. cause of no proper water. this building is legally not livable. they should have put us in another unit or a hotel. til this resolved, my neighbor had a newborn and cant bring her home without a proper enviroment aka no water.
