There are two billboards on this parcel N of our neighborhood entrance on N Walnut St to the W beyond the chiropractor’s office. It appears this parcel was once owned by Hoosier Outdoor Advertising so, I’m presuming that once Steve Ferguson obtained it and Parks and Rec is now the owner that both of these billboards can be taken out and until that might happen at least the one with the lights can have those deactived along with any service. It would be perfect if this area would then be able to gain native trees to add our Tree City USA canopy and Haskell Smith would be able to increase our diversity with new trees followed by native shrubs et al that will be most welcomed over any likely invasive bush honeysuckle et al along this main coordinator into our City and from the N into Cascades Park along the E side of Old State Rd 37 or Dixie Hwy. Thank you for letting me know if I can provide any additional information that might permit this prime cooridor becoming most appreciated and greatly improved with native trees and plants stepping up our Greenspace cooridors W and E along N Walnut Street. Response to case 204377 overgrown weeds and weeds along the curb is taking over the sidewalk. The sidewalk is hard to walk on with the overgrowth and school starts Wednesday so it's not a safe area for kids to walk on.

I AM REACHING OUT ABOUT A SAFETY AND ACCESSIBILITY CONCERN I'VE NOTICED NEAR COLLINS THAT I WAS WANTING TO GET TAKEN CARE OF AS CENTER PRESIDENT THIS YEAR. BETWEEN THE MAIN QUAD ON WOODLAWN AND THE HILLCREST APARTMENTS, THERE IS NO CROSSWALK/PEDESTRIAN CROSSING/YIELD SIGN EVEN THOUGH WE ARE SITUATED DIRECTLY BETWEEN TWO BUSY INTERSECTIONS. ADDITIONALLY, WHILE WE DO HAVE LIGHT POSTS ON THIS PATH, THEY ARE ONLY ON ONE SIDE OF THE STREET, AND THE BULBS ARE VERY DIM. I WAS WONDERING HOW I WOULD BE ABLE TO SEE A CHANGE IMPLEMENTED HERE. THE COLLINS LLC HAS ART STUDIOS IN BOTH THE MAIN QUAD AND AT HILLCREST, AND THEY ARE HARD TO ACCESS SAFELY, ESPECIALLY FOR SOME OF OUR STUDENTS WHO HAVE CHRONIC ILLNESSES AND EYESIGHT ISSUES THAT WOULD BENEFIT FROM A YIELD SIGN, INCREASED LIGHTING, AND POSSIBLE TACTILE PAVING.

The property next to my home has not had the yard cut in a very long time. It’s only been cut once this spring/summer. I reported this a few weeks ago and it has still not been cut. I have attached one picture. Thanks for your help in getting this addressed and resolved.
