is the City still involved in leaf collection?
is the City still involved in leaf collection?
Given that the City refuses to fine residents who blow leaves and grass into adjacent properties and/or onto sidewalks and streets (or even just acknowledge the validity of a complaint made about it), it seems like it will be perfectly fine in the future for everyone to just rake all their leaves and grass clippings into the streets and let the street-cleaners deal with the mess.
Most neighbors in Sherwood Oaks did a good job taking care of their own leaves this year, but there are still many remnants and we haven't seen a street sweeper yet this winter. We'd thought that was something that was supposed to happen after leaf season -- there are still storm inlets getting clogged. Thank you!
Heaps of leaves along the sidewalk in the street, causing parking problems. The owners must not have gotten the message that the city is not picking up leaves anymore.
Neighbor across the street is cutting down some sort of tall plant every year and it all blows across the road onto my property which I have to clean up

A few homes have mounded their leaves on the the street. Rather than bagging or mulching. They are going to be in the storm drain with the upcoming rain. Please have them remove their leaves from the street

When turning out of E. Wilson St. onto S. Woodlawn Ave., it's nearly impossible to see oncoming traffic from the north because of a large yew bush close to the street. The bush is in the southeast corner of the lawn at the second house north of the intersection. It was difficult to see when the bush was small and has only gotten worse.
