Sherwood oaks neighborhood has unsafe streets for multimodal shared roads and inaccessible sidewalks for handicapped individuals in wheelchairs.
Best to express 'concern' in/for the lack of a curb-cut at the corner(s) of the e. 10th & Barrington Driveway.
On the corner of Henderson and Winslow There are these rusted posts sticking up. Looks like a good safety hazard waiting for somebody to impale themselves on. Plus no handrail for somebody who needs one.
The curb area in front of Switchyard Brewing Company has no grass-419 North Walnut St. this causes a very muddy mess inside of the business we have a tempted to grow grass with no success
Sidewalk is completely blocked from downed tree since October 21st.
ACCESSIBILITY: I ride the bus to work at the Gov. Agency building at 1531 S. Curry Pike, and there most definitely needs to be a sidewalk that continues to wrap around further toward the bus stop so that wheel chairs or folks with other disabilities do not fall into the road. The area is super muddy, and even someone with good balance like me can't walk through it. There is a sidewalk leading through the parking lot, but where the bus drops you off there is no actual sidewalk, and the bus won't drop someone off at the actual sidewalk due to it obstructing the parking lot entrance. All it would take is probably about 20-30 feet of sidewalk right there. There may already be a number of complaints, but I really hope it gets fixed so someone doesn't flip their wheelchair into the road or something. Planter in the bottom left corner of the photo contains standing water and is not draining properly. Needs to be emptied and unplugged so that water can drain from the planter.
At the intersection of Clark Street and 7th Street the stop sign was changed from a 4 way stop to a two way stop and if you are driving north on Clark to the stop it is impossible to see if there is oncoming traffic coming from the west on 7th street because of bushes in the way making for a dangerous intersection
There are two dangerous locations on West Third Street at Landmark and Patterson, which would be greatly improved upon by designating the right lanes at Landmark and Patterson as turn only lanes. The problem is created by indecisive traffic flow within a very short range of road before it splits off near Kleindorfers (West Third [turns into Adams] and Kirkwood. Drivers are constantly trying to anticipate turning cars by either driving in the left lane of West Third for a while and then jumping over to the right in front of other drivers, or by driving in the right lane of West Third and jumping back into the left lane before the street splits at Kleindorfers (Adams and Kirkwood). From West Third and Landmark to West Third and Patterson is approximately 900 feet. From West Third (turns into Adams) and Patterson to split from Adams and Kirkwood is approximately 600 feet. This causes bottleneck cars trying to weave in and out of traffic with in a 900 to 600 foot range. Thank you in advance for your consideration, Janda Bain
There are signs on the south east and north east corners of the intersection of Rogers and Patterson that are right by the road and sidewalk and need removed. These signs are all over town. Can anything be done to get these people to stop placing these signs?
