Farmer's Market Cancellation
I am impressed with the mayors statement. As an 84 year old IU alum I have fond memories of my time in your city. You are on the right path.
Hi there! I'm a local resident and wanted to ask and was curious about the Bloomington Flag. I saw on Portland Vexiology Association that you were at the idea stage but I have not heard about anything recently and wanted to know if you would update the flag or at least upload the current design already flown as all I can find is pictures of it waving. As I do believe Bloomington is a great place and I think the flag should represent it.
Per the city of Bloomington's electric scooter guidelines "Park the scooter in a bike rack or in another lawful spot on public property that does not block the right-of-way, limit access for individuals with disabilities, risk damaging private or public property, or jeopardize public safety." Do the new water meters finally mean we can be billed by the gallon as opposed to the present archaic system of thousands of gallons, which is exceptionally adverse to water conservation incentives as well as basic economic fairness. Please say yes. It's such an easy change to make. Even X for every hundred gallons is a vast improvement and perhaps easier to transition to.
There seems to be a disabled Lime scooter lying flat at Willis and 17th St. (northeast on Willis) next to the small strip mall.
Please forward this to Mayor Hamilton. Dear Mayor Hamilton, I would like to urge the city and the county to adopt a 1% for the arts for the new Convention Center. The arts are one of the strong attractions of Bloomington and Monroe County. Let's put that up front and on display at the Convention Center. Sincerely, Paul Smedberg
When is Bloomington getting a Tesla SuperCharger? Seems way overdue to me.
52,000 dollars for a Night Mayor (Nightmare more like it). Thanks for nothing B-town. More like IU Student Housing City, IN. I suppose Mayor "Default" Hamilton can't function after 5pm or he'll turn into a pumpkin.
I am concerned that the city currently has no way to report ethical issues such as conflicts of interest, either anonymously or otherwise.
