This was reported to me by a citizen: The little steps on the B-line near 1st & Morton. The tops of some of the steps are loose and wobbly.

Just south of the intersection of Rogers and Coolidge the multi-use path on the west side of Rogers is heavily impeded by overgrowth of a tree. This is dangerous. As part of the B-Line detour, this needs to be trimmed back.

Near the power substation on Rogers across the street from Switchyard Park the multi-use path on the west side of Rogers is covered in gravel. The gravel runs the length of the substation north to south and needs to be swept up This is dangerous. As part of the B-Line detour, this should be deemed unacceptable for the City to allow for such unsafe conditions.

I've recently noticed the Rail Trail between Country Club Drive and Gordon Pike has sections of large gravel (see attached photo). I appreciate that maintenance is being done, assuming the City is responsible for this work. But, I am concerned because this large gravel is inconsistent with the existing surface for the trail. As a bike commuter and runner on this section of the trail, I was disappointed to see large gravel appear on the surface. The Rail Trail is a great surface to run and walk on and commute on. These patches of large gravel pieces diminish it's utility and enjoyment. Are there plans to use large gravel more often on the trail? I request that the smaller, packed surface be maintained. A tree at the corner of Thatcher Court and Winston Street in Hyde Park has lots of dead branches that have been falling in recent thunderstorms into the traffic lane and on the sidewalk. It needs to be trimmed or removed for safety.
