Excessive growth and yard waste violations as defined by the following City codes: "Weed" means any plant or vegetation classified as a detrimental plant, invasive plant or noxious weed by either the state under authority of IC 15, entitled Agriculture and Animals, or the United States government in accordance with 7 USC 7701. The term shall also includes the vegetation listed in Section 20.05.059 of the Bloomington Municipal Code. "Yard waste" means grass, weeds, leaves, brush, tree trimmings, hedge clippings, and other yard and garden materials. 6.06.050 - Excessive growth. 1600 W. 12th St. Overgrowth on property along Lindbergh Dr. As you know, property owners responsible for care of such easements bordering property.
Yard has not been mowed all summer, resulting in extreme growth on property. Fosters snakes and animals that could pose a threat to children in the neighborhood.
1350 W. 15th St. Aside from the so-called "wooded" part, the yard is overgrown with weeds and Asian Bush Honeysuckle
The home at 700 S. Highland (Southwest corner of E. University and S. Highland) has extensive overgrowth of weeds and tree branches into the sidewalk on S. Highland. The sidewalk has become impassable in some spots and damaged in others. Probably worth a visit by the city, and a citation.
