On going street repair going on many weeks. City Utilities sign in place, corner of E. Longview and Glenwood west. Please raise the priority of this repair, two wheelchair neighbors on that street have to maneuver around the repair into the street to use the sidewalk.
Lincoln Apartments (339 S Lincoln) plowed their parking lot and pushed all the snow out on the public sidewalk.
Citizen stated via email that on West 3rd Street where it "T"s with South Jackson Street a brick sidewalk joins concrete, and there is a big ridge that she tripped over.
The sidewalk on the south side of W Third in the 300 block has a section covered in sand and mud. Not sure who is responsible for upkeep but this is an ongoing problem with runoff from the County convention Center's parking lot washing mud and sand down on the walk. If there is not a permanent solution it needs to be cleaned off frequently.
Southern Oaks Court was not plowed well enough for us to be able to drive out. The center of the road is untouched and snow is piled in front of my driveway 3220 S Southern Oaks Ct
Sidewalk in front of house has degraded to a point that it is dangerous if someone used a scooter in the dark along this stretch, or even walking. Next time the owner applies to renew the rental permit, please stipulate that the current sidewalk be taken up and a fresh one poured to match the rest of that block and remove the current hazard.
I live at 3260 Southern Oaks dr there is a cover not on /missing on a water valve at 3256 Southern oaks dr. My neighbor has hit it with his lawn mower and destroyed 2 of them see rust in the picture of the last hit this year. They are Chinese I believe here affiliated with IU. I have tried to put this lid back on and it seems to be not the lid for this or there is another reason it will not fit. It is a trip hazard right next to the sidewalk. There is a raised sidewalk on Moores Pike between S. Clarizz Blvd. and S. Fenbrook Ln. The sidewalk is raised about 3 feet above street level and there is no rail between the sidewalk and the road. It's dangerous to walk along the sidewalk especially if you're using a stroller.
MRS. Fernandez stated in her email that on the east side North Maple between 8th & 7th Street the sidewalk is covered with grass and its almost impassable. Please contact her after the inspection.
