College Pro Painters sign. Coming from the Rogers/SareRd roundabout, heading towards the Jackson Creek shopping center, on the right hand side near the entrance to the Hyde Park Apartments (2909 S. Sare Rd).
Potholes & cracked pavement at 10th & Jordan--the north crosswalk.
At my home address : 4777 E. Lampkins Ridge Rd the manhole cover on the underground water meter is cracked leaving a hole in the ground.
There is a rotting deer carcass at 1326 Pickwick Place and house is not occupied. It's attracting insects and smells
There are multiple sections of the rail trail with large, loose gravel. This type of gravel is extremely dangerous for bicyclists. The latest section to receive this gravel is just north of That Road. Can the city look into having the large loose gravel removed, and replaced with the fine crushed gravel that used to cover the trail?
Your online reservation system for parks is flawed. https://webtrac.bloomington.in.gov/wbwsc/webtrac.wsc/search.html When I search for Winslow Woods Shelter for 9/21/2019 with starting time 8am, I get a result of "Unavailable." If I change the starting time to 12am, I get a result of "6am-11am Available." This is clearly incorrect behavior and has caused us continued confusion starting at least since Fall 2018. This should be a high priority item for fixing, since it makes the reservation system very unreliable.
There are some parking meters on Madison, between 4th and Kirkwood, on the Kirkwood Apts side, that are missing the green stick that has the # to be entered on the parking app. Many thanks in advance for fixing this.
The residents at 1122 W. 6th Street have never taken their trash bin/recycling bin off their sidewalk or front lawn (just off the sidewalk) since the very start of when the bins were delivered. They frequently just leave it right in the middle of the sidewalk for days. According to the rules, they aren't supposed to be there all week.
I am very concerned with the Mayor's comments about the Farmer's Market. You cannot have it both ways, you don't get to condemn white nationalists in one sentence and then welcome all in the next. I would like to see some clarification on what he meant by this statement. “As Mayor, I have spoken for our city to condemn white nationalism and white supremacists as a scourge on our country and our community, and to promise that we will do all we can to overcome their legacies and any current efforts,” said Bloomington Mayor John Hamilton. “We also want to assure that everyone knows that all are welcome in our inclusive Bloomington, and that our Farmers’ Market will embody those values of inclusion and welcoming, as well as be a safe space for all to gather, as our community expects every Saturday.” This reads like White Nationalists are welcome.
