Large tree limb from Bradford Pear tree in my neighborhood has fallen onto my fence/yard.
Large tree limb from Bradford Pear tree in my neighborhood has fallen onto my fence/yard.
Intersection of Moores Pike and Sare Rd, on the right hand side heading towards the entrance of the AMC theaters: on 2 different poles, one yellow/black and one white/black sign We Buy Houses, with phone number both ending in 4589. Also, a similar white and black 'We Buy houses' sign that first was flat on the ground next to Five Guys at the Kroger parking lot entrance was put upright again. The person who does this, does not care at all about any warnings or action that have been taken to end this illegal signage and visual pollution of our fine city.
A car lost control on northbound Dunn Street towards heading towards Lake Griffy dam. This photo is a street light she hit and dislodged on North Dunn Street across from Lakewood Drive at the entrance to Blue Ridge housing addition. I believe a contributing factor to this accident is the many warning signs on northbound Dunn Street leading up to this location that are covered with leaves and branches, obscuring them. I have additional photos of the signs covered with so many leaves that you can hardly see them.
Two houses from where this scooter was parked in the 700 block of S Eastside Drive, there lives a blind person. She already has made one fall after a collision with a 'parked' scooter. I thought the scooter companies were not going to accept payment until they had proof (a picture?) that the renter had parked the scooter in a responsible manner. So much for that!
1200 N Sunrise Greetings Ct. A manhole / sewer lid is off. I fell into it while changing a tire on my semi in the dark. Please cover so no one else gets hurt. My knee has a chunk of skin out of it and my low back was injured. 930pm Sunday Sept 23 2019
Trash cans have been sitting here for a month now…
The location is the area west of the convention center and east of High Speed Tire in the wooded area. This is the pedestrian walkway along third street on the South side between College Avenue and Morton St. There is starting to be an accumulation of trash and what looks like camping gear gathered in the wooded area. It looks like people may be setting up a camp.
Hello, I live in Bloom Apartments, which is owned by Hunter Bloomington Property Group. Last week, I received this letter announcing a bark park, along with the image at the bottom. I found out that the property group only installed a gate to block vehicles and one on the sidewalk for pedestrians, but have no other enclosures surroudning. I think this is misleading to call it a bark park, when every instance of a bark park or dog park I can find means it has an fenced-in area for dogs to roam. The way they worded this along with the image of the entrance gate makes it seem like it's enclosed. When I called, the representative didn't seem interested or concerned, even when I asked if they could sent a follow-up email clarifying how the space isn't enclosed. My main worry is that dog owners may not know the bark park isn't enclosed, and could lose a dog or have it hit by a vehicle being so close to main roads. Thank you, Vincent Holloway
Since construction started on Winslow Rd. between Walnut St. Pike and S. Walnut St., westbound traffic on Winslow has been a mess due to the single westbound lane approaching the intersection with S. Walnut St. If there is a mix of cars going straight and cars turning left in the single westbound lane, only 2-3 cars make it through on each cycle of the traffic light. During this construction, westbound Winslow Rd. at Walnut St. should either be made "no left turn" or the traffic light cycle should be changed so that westbound traffic gets a period of simultaneous green light and green left turn arrow to allow traffic to clear.
My neighbors lawn hasn't been mowed in many weeks and it is nearly waist high in some parts.
