Location: 806 S. Stull Ave., Bloomington A car is blocking my driveway AGAIN this morning! The yellow curb paint is wearing off across my driveway so it is difficult at night to see that a car should not park there. Can you please come out and repaint my yellow curb? Thank you so much! Sidewalk & Curb Complaints

325 W 3rd St, Bloomington, Indiana, 47403

Case Date:
12/3/2019

The sidewalk on the south side of W Third in the 300 block has a section covered in sand and mud. Not sure who is responsible for upkeep but this is an ongoing problem with runoff from the County convention Center's parking lot washing mud and sand down on the walk. If there is not a permanent solution it needs to be cleaned off frequently.

Sidewalk & Curb Complaints

831 S High ST

Case Date:
12/6/2019

I reported this issue 10 weeks ago, and no action has been taken that I can tell. The home at 831 S. High St. (on the NE corner of High and Maxwell) has vines that have grown over 1/3 of the sidewalk, and branches from bushes hang into the sidewalk as well, making it a hazard for pedestrians and bikers. This home has had hundreds of thousands of dollars of renovations done to it, but the homeowners can't seem to pay someone $25 to cut back the vines and bushes. Something absolutely must be done about this -- I'm tired of having to encounter this neglect on a daily basis.

I just went back to correct something in my text using the in-app back button and now all of the text is gone.... There is a pile of broken glass on the sidewalk on the north side of 3rd street between College and the B-line, the sidewalk that has an incline and black fencing. The glass is about half way between College and the B-Line. It has been there for quite a while

I live at 5838 W Waterstone Trace and there is a drainage grate right in front of my driveway. The grate is falling thru. I had someone reset it but it might need to have the opening it sits in repaired.

Sewer Problems (Storm Sewers)

1562-1802 S Rogers St, Bloomington, Indiana, 47403

Case Date:
2/5/2019

There are two storm pipes located just north of the IMI concrete facility on Rogers, directly across the street from the warehouse. One storm pipe appears to be mostly blocked by debris (lumber, branches, some plastic and other trash). The second pipe is mainly blocked by a large dam of branches. Water is slowly flowing over the dam and draining through the southern pipe. Yesterday, 04 Feb, the water level appeared to be approximately 6 inches above the makeshift dam.

Sewer Problems (Storm Sewers)

2821 E Tapps TURN

Case Date:
2/6/2019

My Name is Josh Goodman and I live at 2821 E Tapps Turn, 47401. My gutters drain into an underground drain tile system (pvc pipe) and, as best as I can tell, this system drains east to west, runs under my backyard, and then hooks into the storm sewer (somewhere underground) on the east side of Sare Rd just north of where Buttonwood Rd intersects Sare Rd. I've been having issues for a while with the system backing up causing water to bubble out of the drain tile and down into the ground right next to the house. This tends to only happen during medium to heavy downpours. I had Roto Rooter come out with their pressurized water snake and camera and we cleaned out the entire system up until the point where it enters the storm sewer, but the issue still persists. There was a little bit of debris (leaves, etc.) but nothing that would cause the issue I'm seeing. Would it be possible for someone in the Utility Department to come out to my property to take a look to see if there is anything that can be done on the City's side to remedy this issue? I can be reached at 812-671-0049. Thanks, Josh
