water main break (again) 900 block of Grant and Dixie no water at 402 E Dodds, why would that break affect my address? Will we be notified if we need to boil water? We were not notified until after the fact when the last water main break happened a few weeks ago. I read it in the paper.

There is a water leak that has been ongoing for atleast a couple months at the NE corner of 14th and College Ave.
A street light is out on 16th street by Jackson Street. Can not see if you walk on that road
Mattresses/box springs(?) and broken furniture piled up behind and on south side of garage in backyard, visible from alley and several neighboring properties.
Thete appears to be a constant stream of reports of overflowing dumpsters and trash in alleys downtown. What is the problem here, people? Pick-ups too infrequent? The problem needs to be solved in a manner such that the trash doesn't build up like this. A city that touts itself as "green" shouldn't be allowing trash out to blow everywhere. If the dumpsters are the responsibility of the private businesses, the city shouldn't pass the buck. The city needs to put pressure on these businesses until this problem is solved. Overflowing dumpsters should be prevented not just cleaned up afterward.
my trash, but not my recycling was not collected this morning. Both were out, unobstructed. I assume just oversight. But this creates a problem for me as the recycling bin I have is usually almost full each week.
Hi there! This isn't an issue rather than a question! I'm doing research on the workforce of Bloomington and I was wondering if you had information on whether the city government workers and/or the county government workers were Unionised and if so what Union they are with. If theres any more information you can provide for example if the Monroe County School Corporation.
I called a couple of weeks ago to report that there were 4 street light out on 11th and Morton. They were never repaired and now there are approximately 8-10 lights out. I’m concerned because my college student walks these streets every night in the dark and it’s just dangerous. Like I said, this is my second time reporting this.
