The property at 304 Hopewell has not been cleaned up what’s going on? Are you related to the grubs? The person named Joe came out to three or four Hopewell answering I complain about car engines and transmissions and junk along habitat street on city property. The scooters that were blocking the sidewalk yesterday in front of Runcible Spoon were just moved over a bit towards the old Boxcar Books. They're still blocking the sidewalk. Forwarding these cases to Lime for resolution doesn't actually resolve the underlying problem.

Could the City start a street volunteer group that can do things like paint crosswalks and maybe even fill potholes in their neighborhood? Would love to just get paint and a brush and approval to make a few improvements instead of waiting.

Hello, I live near the Jackson creek trail and find the new lights to be a complete disappointment. They are extremely bright and it no longer feels as though you are walking through nature, but rather a parking lot. Not only is it aesthetically unappealing but I am also concerned for the local wildlife. Light pollution can have a tremendous impact on the lives of nocturnal animals. I have been hearing spring peepers and owls this year but I’m concerned that these lights will affect these animals negatively. For one, artificial night light hinders an owls ability to hunt. For a city supposedly concerned about the environment, I find this change to be extremely disheartening. While I advocate for getting rid of them all together, the lights should at least be put on a timer so that they go off when the park is closed— around ten or 11. There are 4+ potholes at the base of our driveway in Spicewood II that are impacting vehicle tires.
