A rental at the corner of Mitchell and 2nd St has many bags of open garbage that are smelling up the neighborhood. Sanitation probably didn't pick it up because of the amount of garbage. Who is supposed to contact the realtor or renters? The situation is horrible.

Neighbor isn't using his city appointed trash bins, leaves them on his back porch. Animals get into them/wind blows his trash into my yard. Been this way about a year. I have more video/photos to prove it.

Continuing trash problem around dumpster. Pillow? in front yard, chairs, tarp-covered furniture in back yard has been there for 2 weeks.

(see photo) THIS is the yard at 913 W. 11th Street. The owner uses this house for storage and seems to think this neighborhood deserves no better than this heap. The front porch is just as bad. This is more than unsightly. This is a health and safety hazard - there are several children living right next door. PLEASE get this taken care of for the sake of everyone. I will also be contacting Kate Rosenbarger about this.

I was crossing walnut and miller drive light today on my walk signal when a city of Bloomington trash truck nearly ran me over. If I hadn't jumped back in time I would be dead right now. I had the right of way as it was at the crosswalk on the walk signal. They never even slowed down. I am requesting if there is any surveillance of this light if it could be looked at around 12:30pm on 5/27. I was too shook up to get a number or anything from the truck but I feel this is something that should be brought up to the drivers of the truck that they need to look out for legally crossing pedestrians.

My neighbors loaded a box spring and several bags of trash out of their house about a month ago and it hasn't moved. At least one person walking down my alley dug through this garbage, as well as several animals. They are IU students who seem to have come back about once a week, but haven't taken any trash to the curb since graduation. It's now ripped open and blowing around their yard and the alley.

913 W. 11th is STILL not cleaned up. The overgrowth is STILL not cut back to where the line of site is clear to turn from Orris to 11th. You have warned. You have fined. Now what is the problem? The house is unoccupied and is used by the owner for nothing but storage - or should I say dump. The trash is unsanitary, unhealthy, dangerous to the children living next door, can attract rodents and other disease-ridden animals, and is completely disrespectful to the neighborhood.
