Street lights out on West side of road on North College from West 17th Street to 911 N College by the bridge.
In morning particularly, around 7:45a, the timing of the traffic signal at Walnut and Grimes often causes a backup in the northbound lanes of Walnut all the way to Hillside, due to people trying to turn west onto Grimes. Is it possible to re-time this signal? Thank you!
"There is one left turning lane, one lane to go straight, and one lane to turn right. The middle lane to continue straight should also have the option to turn left. Hardly anyone leaving the McDonalds, Cheddars, Pizza Hut, fire department, and the hotels are going straight. The light to leave our area is not long and I truly believe the flow will greatly improve with a dual straight and left hand turning lane."
Can you please replace the stop sign located at intersection of Thorton Drive and Maxwell Street (at the western side of the intersection on Thorton Drive). It is very faded and hard to see and i'm worried that somebody will go through the intersection without stopping. Please fix this problem for us in the neighborhood.
At a neighborhood Fourth of July party, the question came up on whether the faded stop sign at the corner of Forrester (north side) and Daniel will be replaced and moved in front of the tree that partially blocks it so motorists will stop at that intersection. We have a lot of children who walk to the park by both stop signs on Forrester and Daniel, so we were hoping there is a way to mark those intersections so they stop. Is there anyone in the city we should pose this question to? Thanks for any advice you can provide.
Location of your Problem: 1310 West Woodhill Drive Details: I have big tree limbs down in my yard by the sidewalk and street due to the high winds we experienced last Thursday. Can the City of Bloomington's Neighborhood Services Team send someone to pick them up for disposal? Thank you. Contact Info Name: Ronetta F.
