Citizen filed complaint concerning the forced installation of digital services and now is paying 20% more for something she never wanted. Citizen stated she was not told about the rate increase when the digital service was installed.
Rental (duplex) has been vacant since Aug 2023. Since end of May 2024 there has been trash piled on the porch and backyard, left by squatters. It was cleaned up in June and trash is there again. Also it appears that someone is living in the back garage, which does not have doors and was supposed to be boarded up by the owner.

Overflowing dumpster at the apartment building at 809 S. Henderson, plus the dumpster is not in its enclosure, but rather next to it.
Received email from the planning dept. The uncontainered trash bags around the back wall of 809 S. Fess are an increasing nuisance on our block. When I complain to the students, they clean up the alley a bit but do not put out their trash weekly. The raccoons, rats, ect. get into it and carry bits of garbage around the back alley, where my toddler and I like to walk. This week is a typical example of what is lying around back there. Jo Stong HAND issued a complaint that 2 cars are parked in without current license plates
Ms Dwyer contacted me last week and I met her at her house this morning. She is concerned about a sinkhole forming in her yard again and the amount of water that ponds on the south side of her house. This is a historical problem. We made some storm improvements in the alley east of her last year and hoped that would help solve some of her problems but she still has issues and would like to know what she can do. I told her I have asked our crews to video the storm sewer that runs along her yard to make sure the pipe is sound. I told her I would also check our sanitary sewer videos to make sure the sanitary sewer is sound. I explained I would be out of the office for about a week and would get back with her in a couple weeks to let her know what we have found.
