Neighborlink Report
Location of your Problem: 3603 S Kingsbury Ave
Details: There is a house on our street, S Kingsbury Ave, that has been empty since November 2009 when the owner, Phyllis Phillips died. Different people from the neighborhood have mowed the front area from time to time. The house has several dead trees that need to be removed, lots of limbs and just recently a large part of the tree in the front yard came down in the winds and is still there. It makes the neighborhood look bad. We are hoping you will be able to help get our street looking good again! The address of the house is 3603 S Kingsbury Ave. It is on the corner of Allendale and Kingsbury. As you turn onto Kingsbury it is the first house on the left. We will look forward to hearing from you! Thank you for listening! The neighbors on S Kingsbury Ave.

Stop sign issue. The stops signs on Rogers (intersection with Dodds) are not apparent enough, so people have a tenancy of blowing through the four way intersection. The suggestion is a red reflective strip on the sign pole, or another way of making the stop signs more visible in order to improve safety at the intersection.

I encourage someone to take a look at the state of the Morton Street parking garage's elevator. It's unsightly, in total disrepair, and an embarrassment that poorly represents Bloomington to all the out-of-town visitors who stay at the the Hilton and park in the garage.

These new flower beds are filled with rain water and if they freeze they may damage the plastic liner inside. They may need some holes drilled in them before the soil is added.
