As a parent of a developmentally disabled adult and Special Olympics coach, Mr. Murphy wrote to thank the Dept for including golf in the BPR SO program. Espcially commended Jennifer Phillips and staff who recruited great volunteers, the best in 3 years! See letter.
Ms. Anderson wrote to say how beautiful the garden plantings around town are, especially the areas around the Showers Bldg. She feels the flowers are well chosen and artfully planted and they contribute a great deal to the beauty of the city. Also, complimented the staff on the wildflower planting north of Miller Showers. (see attached letter).
Citizen "has observed many people stumbling and injuring themselves because of cracks and uneven spots along the pavement in front of Jiffy Treet along Kirkwood." Citizen wants repairs made to pavement.
SEWER ODOR INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE HOUSE
The neighbors septic system has failed and runs onto her property. The Health Dept. also called about this. Property is a rental owned by Norbu.

We received a request from a young woman living in Park Ridge East. She is concerned that there is no sidewalk on Sheffield Drive between Plymouth Road and Park Ridge Road as this is a path for children to walk to Park Ridge East Park. The bus picks up children in this area and they have no where to wait for the bus.
Mike called to report a large hole in the pavement by the curb. He said it appears to be storm work being done and had caved in.
Rec'd. letter from Ann Robinson complaining that rain water stands on parking lot of Highland Village Park causing patrons to step over curbs and that standing water blocks disabled persons' entry into the park. Neighborhood Assn. requests that Utilities Department install a small drain at end of parking and small drainage at large basin on end of Harvey Drive.
