Catherine did not pay the "unregistered fee" for $105.00 at this time because she doesn't understand how it could be applicable to her, and has requested that someone explain it to her. She states that neither her nor her husband received any notification that they had to register with the COB, until HAND notified them this summer, stating that you had to register to rent. Dangerous traffic situation on West 2nd St. near the ramp to the S.R. 37 Bypass. SEE LETTER.
LETTER WAS RECD. FROM TERRY AND THERESA DUEMLER. THE DUEMLERS STATED THAT THEY RECEIVED A HIGH SEWER BILL DUE TO WATERING AND ARE REQUESTING THAT A CREDIT BE ALLOWED FOR WATERING.
Ms. Becker sent a letter requsting that she receive credit for 1/2 of her sewer bill for September. She purchased 18 trees and watered heavily so that they would survive.
MR. FITZGERALD CALLED ON 11/10/97 AND WROTE A LETTER RE. HIS ACCT. HE STATED THAT DEVELOPER OF SHERWOOD HILLS CONDOMINIUM CAUSED EROSION ON HIS PROPERTY. MR. BLACKWELL INSTALLED NEW SOD ON MR. FITZGERALD'S PROPERTY; THEREFORE, MR. BLACKWELL WATERED HIS LAWN EXTENSIVELY. MR. FITZGERALD IS REQUESTING THAT HIS SEWER BILL BE REDUCED TO THE AMOUNT OF THE SUMMER MONTHS. MR. BLACKWELL ASKED THAT THIS REQUEST BE PRESENTED TO THE UTILITIES SERVICE BOARD.
LETTER WAS REC'D. FROM MS. THRASHER REQUESTING THAT CBU ALLOW MORE MONTHS DURING WHICH CREDIT IS ALLOWED FOR WATERING LAWNS.

"Decks & More" sign posted in violation of code on south side of E. 3rd St. between Pleasant Ridge and Reisner.
Comment/suggestion re: People's Park. Saw article in the HT about improvements. Would like to add a suggestion that the wall be removed. It attracts people to sit on it and attracts walkers-by to converse w/those sitting on it and blocks pedestrian traffic on sidewalk. In addition, it is dingy and unattractive. She applauds the Dept for its initiative to improve the park.
