Catherine did not pay the "unregistered fee" for $105.00 at this time because she doesn't understand how it could be applicable to her, and has requested that someone explain it to her. She states that neither her nor her husband received any notification that they had to register with the COB, until HAND notified them this summer, stating that you had to register to rent. SEE ATTACHED LETTER. (AK)
Comment/suggestion re: People's Park. Saw article in the HT about improvements. Would like to add a suggestion that the wall be removed. It attracts people to sit on it and attracts walkers-by to converse w/those sitting on it and blocks pedestrian traffic on sidewalk. In addition, it is dingy and unattractive. She applauds the Dept for its initiative to improve the park.
Ms. Anton wrote the Council concerned about flyers being placed on her door. She was worried that if they were placed while she was away burlars would know that no one was home. She wanted to know whether we had or would consider an ordinance prohibiting the use of flyers. Do we have any regulations regarding the use of door hanger notices?
Phyllis & Samuel Guskin wrote re. 1725 E. Hunter Ave. They want to object to a request to subdivide existing single family residential lot at 1900 Atwater. They feel that the land is unsuitable for development because it appears to be a sinkhole. They also feel that the water retention needs should be addressed before any development is permitted. Letter was received by Util. Dept. but referred to COB Planning Dept.
TCC Council Member states that has several issues with Insight. See attached documents for details.
Ms. Abram of B&L Rentals LLC stated she would like to request a review of cost for application for sewer at 2411 S. Milton Drive. She said she was told by Rebecca Lambert this was not part of neighborhood development and then was informed by Byron Reinhold in early 10/02 this was indeed part of neighborhood development and that hook-on fee was $3,336.73 not including the base fee of $1,280.00. Standard fee of $1,280.00 was paid on 9/6/02.
Wrote a letter to Mayor Kruzan voicing concern with Bloomington Police.
Mr. Reed stated that he conferred with Mike Bengtson re. costs before he quoted a job. Mr. Bengtson did not quote the sewer connection fee of $1,600.00. Mr. Reed requests that the sewer connection fee of $1,600.00 be returned to him because he was given misinformation.
7th grader is visiting town and asked the mayor for suggestions, what to do.. responded via email.
