6/23/16 To: John Hamilton Mayor I hope the Taste of Bloomington was a big success. It was bad news for the laborers who set up the tents. Southside Rental who employed them did not pay them. They had some excuses. These are folks who really need the money. It reflects badly on the city that those at the lowest level do not get paid promptly. I hope you will tell Southside that they give the city a bad name. Bloomington is a great city and the Taste of Bloomington has gone on well for many years. Thanks, Robert P. Muldoon 501 N. Desires a cleanout for the slotted drain in the driveway. Desires a tree well for the gum tree on north side of drive. Desires drainage improvements on the southeast side. Desires opening in the median.
Letter stated Mr. Schatz feels that a crack (leak) in his pvc pipe connector to meter was caused by damage during construction. Customer had break repaired but received extra large water bill. Wants matter investigated and adjustment made.
Fax was received stating that Mike and Julie Donham were upset with the final yard work at 515 S. Washington St. in Bloomington, IN. They feel add'l. topsoil and seeding are needed along sidewalk and 2 depressesions needed on south side of house.
Mr. Jones wrote letter dated 2/2/99 that stated that CBU crews constructed sanitary sewer thru east end of his property during 1995. The surveyor stake for the property line marker was removed and not replaced. Mr. Jones states that the easement agreement provides that the property will be returned to the original condition prior to construction work. Mr. Jones would like the marker replaced.
After traffic calming device was installed at the corner of 3rd and Rogers, sidewalk had to be realigned. Realigning meant tree had to be dug up and the lawn in this area was never fixed. See letter
Received anonymous letter stating that in the 300 block of S. Maple there is a purple house on the east side of the street where the shrubbery has over grown onto the sidewalk causing people to have to walk in the street.
