THE CHURCH AT 515 N GRANT STREET WAS CONVERTED INTO APARTMENTS. THERE WAS WORK DOWN IN THE PAVED, N-S ALLEY THAT RUNS FROM 10TH STREET TO 9TH STREET. MR. LEISZ THOUGHT IT WAS SOME TYPE OFUTILITY WORK. THE CONTRACTOR DID NOT REPAIR THE ALLEY VERY WELL. WHEN IT RAINS THE WATER NOW POOLS AT THE BACK OF THE CHURCH AND MR. LEISZ'S PROPERTY. LEISZ FEELS THAT THE WORK DONE IN THE ALLEY HAS CAUSED THIS PROBLEM.
The dumpster on the north side of 705 N. Grant St. is overflowing; litter blowing everywhere. Ms. Easton stated that the dumpster needs emptied more often.
Location is approximate, there is a "huge pile of junk" in the alley behind this block (former Beauty College) which has been there for about a month.
Trash and recycling has been left outside and has blown up and down the street. Cans are left outside.
Refrigerator on front porch appears to be unsecured. Caller and her neighbor both have small children who might be attracted to it. Complaintant is also finding it necessary to go 3 blocks out of her way because occupants of 310 E Cottage Grv. are parking in alley, making it impossible to get through.
Upstairs tenants will not comply with trash program. No tags and some of the trash is not bagged.
People don't know how to park with the "fancy curbs" at the Monroe County Library. Both on Kirkwood & Lincoln. Totally confused with the curbs. Person thought she was parked ok, got tkt because her car jutted into the street causing a hazard.
NOT SORTED; TRASH MIXED IN WITH RECYCLING
WATER METER WAS OFF
