W. Sunset Ave. between Harvey and Westwood -- water stands in the street and weeds are growing in the middle of the street. Mr. Robinson has shoveled sand from the middle of Sunset Ave. The City should do something about this since he pays taxes.
Mr. Lord expressed concern about the "man-made" potholes around the city. He realizes that he does not live in the city, but still spends money here and is tired of running into these potholes. He wanted to suggest manhole "spacers", the piece of equipment between the manhole cover and the pavement. Call made at approx. 2:00 p.m., August 20, 1997. Mr. Strats called the Mayor's Office at approximately 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 1997 to express concern over his water being turned off. He had originally received a notice that his water bill was late, then showed proof of payment to Utilities. After doing so, Utilities informed him that he would be taken off the list, but his water at the Uptown Cafe (his business) water still turned off.
Tenants have left trash in the tree plot and yard.
THE EMPTY LOTS BETWEEN SUMMIT AND MONROE IN THE ALLEY ARE ALL GROWN UP WITH WEEDS.
THERE ARE TALL WEEDS AND FLOWERS BLOCKING TRAFFIC.
