SEWER ODOR IN HOME, AFTER HOURS CALL TAKEN BY CONTROL
Public Works Dept. received an anonymous telephone call on 8/24/98 stating that Utilities Dept. employee Scot Osborn put a "SUPPORT NRA" sticker on the window of his vehicle.
Ms. Banks called to complain about a large amount of trash in the yard across from her residence at 2710 S. Madison Street.
Mr. Shields called to complain about missed trash and recycling pick ups, but also described calling the sanitation office and dealing with a "rude" employee when discussing these issues.
Concerned that street sweepers miss the edges of the roads next to curbs, especially in her area where there is a slight drop off along 2nd street between the pavement and the curb. She has cleaned up 22 bags of sand in her block and will have them removed, but wants to know if there is somewhere that citizens can take the sand if they clean it up themselves. Is there a pile somewhere that they can add to?
Mr. Clayton's sister, Florence called for him. He says that when we do snow removal we push all the snow and sand into his flower bed and that this can be avoided. There's a big pile of sand there now and he wants to know if we'll remove it. Also says we picked up everyone's leaves this year except his.
Resident reports asphalt from cul-de-sac and other debris which she gathered and placed at the curb on her property, requests pickup and cautions that debris is heavy.
Resident reports branches were cut down at the edge of her property several days ago and that they have remained on the curb since that time.
