Says the front of her property has been damaged by storage & removal of gravel, etc. Wants her lawn repaired. Has spoken with Doug Jones who said Mike Farmer would call her. ELEANOR BARKLEY CALLED ON 4/18/97. SHE WANTED TO COMPLAINED ABOUT CONSTRUCTION WORK DONE IN THE VICINTY OF HER APTS. AT 2ND & ADAMS. APPARENTLY, A WATER LINE WAS CUT BY THE CREW DOING THE WORK ON 4/15/97. THIS CAUSED MUD BUILDUP IN THE LINES IN HER APTS. MS. BARKLEY HAD TO PAY OUT A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF MONEY TO CLEAN UP THE MESS AND MAKE THE APTS. LIVABLE FOR HER TENANTS. MS. BARKLEY FEELS THAT SHE SHOULD BE REIMBURSED FOR HER EXPENDITURES. SHE DOES NOT KNOW IF CREW WAS COB, CBU, OR PRIVATE.

Deb McMullen is upset that the city has spent all this money on the College Mall Road project, and the best the city could come up with was restricting only one business, namely Dr. Steeles, to no entry from the south. She says that it looks bad on the department.
