Citizen says her new rubbermaid trash can lid was run over by sanitation crews, though she did not witness it. Feels this is very careless and she should receive better service for as much money as the city makes off trash. Wants something done about her can lid - she's taken it back in and is going to see if she can find a replacement somewhere.

Complaint about tenants in a rental unit at 1034 or 1036 S Mitchell (a small blue house) have repeatedly been parking in front of a fire hydrant for a long while, despite offers by the neighbors to show them other places to park.

Came in w/Councilman Sabbagh. Renting bldg. on Hillside by RR tracks. Last night an employee caught "kids" breaking into a car and they pulled a gun on him. Was reported to BPD. Citizen wants more police patrols & presence, says area has gang problems, can't subject his workforce to this. Also wants lights installed along Hillside by their parking lot.
