W. Sunset Ave. between Harvey and Westwood -- water stands in the street and weeds are growing in the middle of the street. Mr. Robinson has shoveled sand from the middle of Sunset Ave. The City should do something about this since he pays taxes.
Mr. Lord expressed concern about the "man-made" potholes around the city. He realizes that he does not live in the city, but still spends money here and is tired of running into these potholes. He wanted to suggest manhole "spacers", the piece of equipment between the manhole cover and the pavement. Call made at approx. 2:00 p.m., August 20, 1997. This yard is just a wreck the trash is out most all the time and much of the time cans are on the sidewalk. Veg. grows over the sidewalk, the place is just a wreck
Yard is overgrown and look a mess.
Noticed that City has blocked off the road through the medical center/COTA which was acting as an alternate route around the Tapp Road work. State is working on 37 exits for Fullerton Pike and Rockport Road and has them down to one lane. This is creating a very dangerous situation since Rockport is the official Tapp Road detour. Someone should look at this and open the road through the medical center or see if something else can be done before someone is killed.
Yard has not been cut in front or back. This is the house directly south of 531 Westwood.
