Hi - there is a mosquito infestation in the woods between Oaklawn park & meadowcreek. I can see the trail from backyard. There was a cloud of mosquitos. It is a wildlife sanctuary there are what I believe rare birds I do not want it cut down but I want an arborist/ ecologist to assess if pine forests naturally have 2 feet of weeds, vines, underbrush. I googled misquote habitat & it says this exactly. Does the city own this easement ( trail)? If not - is it in city limits & issue a citation? I looked on city website there is a line here so I don’t know if the woods is on city or county side. There is a new disease in America , EEE, that mosquitos carry and it can be fatal or cause seizures. I know Mother Nature does their landscaping. There is no maps of Switchyard park. It's not clear where facilities are so you can choose best parking area. Also there should be trail crossing signs on B-line. I walked right into traffic by pavilion, because I didn't realize I was approaching the trail. I thought trail ran along the side of the park, not right down the middle. Permanent signage is needed.

The trail lights on posts 137 and 138 are both out just to the east of Moravec. The second one to the west of Moravec is also very dim, probably 141.

Hi, I live at the address pictured in the attached copy which is from the hard copy Parks brochure I just received. I access all the information I need from the website, so I would ask that you remove this mailing label from the list to save the cost of printing and postage. I called a couple years ago and had my name removed from this same mailing list for the above reasons. Now I am receiving one at my address to "Current Resident." I want to limit my recycling and it will save Parks money also. Thanks Martha Wainscott

I have requested in the past that the trees in the city tree plot desperately need to be trimmed. I'm not sure who does this but I have requested several times and no such luck on them getting trimmed.

Mr. Jesseph works at German-American Bank, and asked that the tree directly outside the bank be trimmed if possible. When the bank lowers its flag to half-mast (which has happened unfortunately often recently), it gets caught in the tree and ruins the flag.
