The traffic calming bump outs and the new addition to the Weatherstone/Hillside intersection are causing traffic issues. The streets are not wide enough for two cars to pass each other and I've seen near accidents. Weatherstone at the intersection is not wide enough for two cars.
An area of new sod immediately adjacent to the sidewalk and between the sidewalk and street has collapsed (in some places to a depth of 9 inches) in such a way that it is unsafe for bicyclists or pedestrians who may veer off the sidewalk even very briefly. We believe this sod was laid after the ground was dug for installation of the fiber cable for Gigabit Now. We (University Baptist Church) are not certain of the best agency to contact about the problem, and we are hoping that you will either take care of it or direct us to the correct people to contact. If someone chooses to respond to this concern by phone, please note that we have very limited office hours, but they could leave a voice message. Email is actually best. Thank you! Overgrown weeds obstructing sidewalk
Sidewalk blocked by fiber truck. Workers told me they did not have to put up signs and barricades and proceeded to yell at me
Poison ivy growing onto the sidewalk between 1114 Nancy St and the property to the north of it
Low overhanging branches at the corner of 1709 E Circle Drive and the 900th block of S Eastside Drive. Property owners at 1709 Circle drive?
Sidewalk just north of Covenanter and High street has poison ivy growing onto the sidewalk.
The stop signs at this intersection are rather confusing because Indiana Avenue is a two-lane one-way street. It can be difficult to determine who has the right of way quickly enough to avoid interrupting the flow of traffic. Also, I have seen drivers ignore the stop signs on Indiana on several occasions. I think this intersection needs a stoplight.
Our neighbors park their boat on the street almost every day. There are 4 homes at the end of Sweetbriar Court in a cul de sac. At times this boat and other vehicles make it inaccessible for bigger vehicles to pass through. This makes it inaccessible for Bloomington Access for Senior Citizens. It would make it impossible for a fire truck or ambulance to make it through as Well as trash and recycling trucks. I would appreciate some action from the city to deal with this issue. Thank you!
