The Shalom center is trashing the surrounding community and it would be very nice if trash cans could be provided since the center won’t do anything to help. It’s in the streets, in the yards, everywhere.

We were told by the crew that created the sidewalk on Sare Road that our hill on that side of our fence would be no-mow foliage or no-mow grass. It is currently as long as the other side of the new sidewalk. It is not safe for us to mow it with only having a zero-turn mower. How can we get it switched to the no-mow foliage we were told would be planted?

Query the status of cases 174610 (Febr. 1) and 175275 (March 30): low hanging branches still hitting pedestrians in the face from a tree in the yard of 713 Clifton, but the branches are on E FIRST.
Hope Michael Stewart can stop by and do something about this.

The crosswalk on Henderson near Templeton school between Driscoll and Wilson continues to be dangerous. We use it daily to and from school with many other kids and routinely have close calls with cars speeding through. I think part of this is foliage blocking the flashers, but would like to also suggest pedestrian flags be provided on both sides of the street. We've used them living in other towns and they are really great. Here's a website that explains their use in another city

What used to be a 10 minute drive to work now takes close to 35. Why? Construction on Tapp, 37, Rodgers, Walnut, 10th Street, Dunn, Fee, and Gordon Pike closed. There is literally not any route left to get to work. Everyone on the south side is forced to sit in traffic for two to three times the normal length due to terrible planning by the city in the closing of streets and construction that has effectivity shut down part of the city and prevent us from going anywhere or doing anything.

To: Mayor Hamilton, if you could please look at ureport case #161401 from october 3. now it is 2 months later & that crosswalk button at a very busy intersection (west 3rd st & franklin) still isn't fixed. i see mr. cibor's note there from oct.18 but even if he has to coordinate with another agency, it still shouldn't take this long. i am afraid i am going to get hit by a big truck. i cannot walk very fast because of medical problems. also, there will be snow & ice soon, making crossing there even more difficult.
