Caller has tried to reach someone at animal shelter for 3 days. Is disgusted with phone system that won't allow him to talk to anyone. (I asked if he left a message--he had not.) He found an animal which he asked shelter to pick up and now he wants to adopt animal but can't reach shelter.) He also feels personnel are rude to him. People should be REQUIRED to rake their leaves. His neighbor just lets his sit there and they all blow onto his lawn after he's already taken care of his. He's a DAV and can't keep up with this. Neighbor's leaves also clog the storm drains.

Why won't city pick up leaves in Longview mobile home park? There are many older people there who need the service. Ms. Jackson plans to go to the media re this situation.

Objects to spending $250,000 on farmers market shelter when it will be used by people from out of the county. His taxes have gone up the last two years and he is on a fixed income. As a taxpayer, he is disappointed with this "runaway" taxation.
