On the corner of Covenanter and high on the right as you’re heading south on high there’s a dangerous drop off into a rocky drainage area that needs to have a guardrail or some type of protection. The road lists in the direction of the drop off and at some point fire and rescue is going to have to fish a car out of the drop off. Not sure how this was allowed to be built without a guardrail. It may be the biggest pothole in the city.

Large electronic billboard eyesore still in place at kinser pike. Will this finally come down soon? It’s so bright and distracting to drivers and it can be seen at night as a bother from adjacent neighborhoods and properties (apartments and hotels). Is this going forward to get removed?

I've sent a few uReports about the service not working on my iPhone 14 (the request never fully processes - I never get the "thank you - here's your ticket number". So, I've taken to submitting uReports from my laptop (MacBook Pro, Catalina OS, version 10.15.7, using Chrome Browser) and found additional usability issues. For example, when I click on "find me" within a uReport request, the resulting map takes up the rest of the screen, and will not allow me to scroll down to the "general information" section or to submit the request! To do so, I had to minimize the View Zoom. This is true in both Chrome and Safari. I know there are plans to replace uReport. I'm definitely interested in being part of a resident testing group whenever there is a new system and/or upgrades to this one.

Using the MyBloomington website, ( https://bloomington.in.gov/mybloomington/ ) It would be helpful to list the historic designation per the SHARD for houses both in and out of historic districts. (i.e. C / Contributing, NC / Non-Contributing, O / Outstanding, etc.) and linked to a page that explains WHAT THAT MEANS in terms of modifications to the outsides of houses, whether or not that structure is in an historic district. Many homeowners come before the Historic Preservation Commission angry and uninformed. Consult with the HPC Program Manager, Noah Sandweiss, on what to put in these blurbs - it changes based on whether the property is in a district, as well which district it is in. On east side of b line between Kirkwood and 6th Street. Chicken waddle hangs down into head space about 4 ft from edge of path. This is a relatively congested part of the b line and it is often necessary to detour off the path here to get around a stationary group. i have had close calls with this chicken waddle, and other people have actually hit it with their heads while biking. Now that dave williams is gone could we get a little consideration for safety?

I am currently attending the virtual City of Bloomington Board of Park Commissioners meeting via Zoom. I am disappointed by the city’s negligence to make this meeting more accessible for those with hearing barriers. Why don’t ALL virtual city meetings have closed captions and/or live signing?

Just today, I noticed a 4, maybe 5 year old ridding his/her bike down 10th St., and the parents walking along seemed 'forced' to help child off bike, then "lift" bike onto sidewalk. As I use a walker, and to gain access to the BT 'stop'. I feel it best someone contact the BHA (Barrington Homeowners Association and enforce city laws of/for which they claimed to be "exempt" from, although I very much disagree. I consider this/them to be a well justified part of the City of Bloomington. IF asked/requested, I will take a picture of possible curb-cut or ramp sites.

There is a drainage issue outside our neighbor’s home that is running in front of our home as well. The standing water has been there for about a year, is disgusting and has an odor that smells like fish. I am concerned about our children getting sick from getting this contaminated water on their hands and body. This is located on the cul-de-sac of S Bay Hill Court in Fieldstone Subdivision - specifically in front of 431 S Bay Hill Court. I am requesting someone come take a look, identify the leak, and please fix the issue. Thank you, Brittney Raderstorf

I am having an issue with my front ditch flooding every time it rains. This picture was taken today (June 2nd, 2021) during the light rain we experienced throughout the day. When we receive heavy down pours or rain for multiple days the runoff storm water puts my mailbox post underwater. Which, over time, rots the post (I have recently had it replaced). When the front yard does flood the water travels across the road in a 30-40 foot wide swath, several inches deep. When dry, the culverts (under my driveway and the one going under the road) can be observed as 95-100% silted in and obstructed. I have noticed over the past couple of years where the city has had the utilities marked and the culvert marked going under the road. Other culverts in the Park RIdge neighborhood have been replaced or repaired except for the one in front of my residence. I would appreciate an update on when this issue will be addressed.
