The sidewalk along Lincoln Street, near 8th street, has been blocked for the last few days during the daytime. It doesn't seem like anyone has been working there, so it seems like it has been closed just to be closed

Semi truck parked in 7-line in front of the health department seemed to think he was doing me a favor by only blocking one lane. Yew bush/tree has grown out so far that it halfway blocks the sidewalk. This makes for a dangerous situation at night because the sidewalk is in really bad shape at the same location. Those two things together pose a major trip hazard if people have to navigate around the yew in the dark and also have to watch their step on the crumbling sidewalk.

Shrubbery along boundary between properties - 715 E. 11th (IU-owned) and 723 E. 11th (private) - has grown so much that it is blocking the sidewalk. It is not obvious which of the two properties is responsible for the trimming, but it looks closer to 715.
