With all of the construction of the new apartment buildings along college and walnut, are there any plans to fix the streets? the area just south of 17th and college is extremely dangerous with the addition of the parking spaces and NO lane markings. I think the city needs to focus on the roads a little more, especially the main street through town. The area of college and walnut between hwy 46 and the square has been neglected for too long and needs repaired.

caller informs a Hobo village has left lots of trash, across the street from Cascades Village Apts. On Old 37 north...east side of the road. Caller thought since its winter it would be easier to access, he mentioned there was enough trash for two garbage trucks.

Hello, there is excessive growth and illegal dumping behind my house at 1221 West 6th street. Someone has thrown a toilet back there. You can easily access the area via an alley way to the parking area behind the houses on Kirkwood. Thank you for your attention to this area. -J

Greetings: I am the Director of the Farmer House Museum and I would like to address the safety concern in our ally that connect between Morton and College at 10th Street. I have a detailed video taken by our board member that shows the area of concern and safety. We have applied for an AARP grant to secure funding to repair and update the parking pad and the alley inbetween the Woodburn House and the Farmer House museum. At the Farmer House Museum we cannot repair the edges of our parking pad without the evaluation from the City of Bloomington. Thank you for your time and consideration. Our trash was properly spaced and positioned at the end of our driveway. It has been left without the trash collected for two weeks now and we have trash building up in our house and do not know what to do. This is creating a stressful and unsanitary environment and the sanitation department left no reason or note as to why this is happening.
