I parked at meter 7612 today at approximately 1340 and deposited 50 cents but was only credited with 15 minutes. I would like a refund for the 25 cents I wasn’t credited with. How do I obtain my refund?
Regarding case 168559. In essence you are saying the city sometimes collects money for parking but doesn’t have to provide the time paid for by the customer. Doesn’t seem reasonable. Who can I complain to above you.
Parked in Templeton school parking lot for over a year. Expired plates.
I’m writing following up on case numbers 168560 and 168559. The answer to your question is no. I paid for 30 minutes but was credited for 15 minutes. I left before the 15 minutes expired. It was not worth the risk of a ticket. Would the city forgive a ticket if I told them I paid for the time but wasn’t credited for it or would they say sorry for your bad luck? There needs to be a number to call for people to report these issues immediately when they happen and have the time added remotely without having to go through all of this. David Willian
Regarding 168571. Thanks for taking care of this. Having a phone number listed on the meter that is immediately answered will make this a non issue. Thanks again, David Willian
Truck blocking sidewalk access for wheelchairs. Had to walk on the busy street and almost got hit twice
As a repeat of case #168433, since it was filed May 8th and the issue has not been resolved....There is a white Jeep SUV type vehicle abandoned in plain public view at the front edge of the property along the street at 801 N. Oolitic St. This vehicle does not operate and has been sitting, unmoved, for at least six months, if not a year. The vehicle is not directly on the street, it sits in the grass at the edge of the road - technically a city right-of way. Nevertheless....to quote city ordinance 15.04.020-Abandoned Vehicle(6) "Abandoned vehicle" means "A vehicle that is three or more model years old (it is), and mechanically inoperable (it is), and is left on private property continuously in a location visible from public property for more than twenty days (it absolutely is clearly visible from my property, every neighbors' property, and any passerby.) Whether anything like the engine, transmission, or differential has been removed is unknown to me, but it may also fit under definition (4) of "abandoned vehicle." This vehicle is an eyesore to myself and my neighbors. Please take the necessary measures to have it removed. Thank you.
We are a landscape company that does work for IU Bloomington and receive parking tickets when we are watering. Is there a parking permit that would benefit us?
Saturn ( possible auction vehicle ) was dropped in our parking lot at 1701 East Second Street, United Presbyterian Church, several months ago. We put a notice under the windshield twice for the owner to contact the office about the vehicle. No one has contacted us. As the picture illustrates, the car isn't fully in the parking space, causing a hazard when people try to exit our parking lot. We must assume the vehicle is abandoned as no one has moved it in over 3 months and no one will contact us about it. There are numbers on the windshield that might be from an auction.
