At switchyard dog park in the large dog area, there is a huge pool of muddy water. It looks like when they fixed the puddle the other month, it just moved the problem to a different spot and is now even worse. Where the pipe drains out, it has created a large pool of muddy water that dogs lay in, eat, and drink. This is a health hazard for the dogs, and they seem to be drawn to the mud because of the heat. I ask that this hole be filled, and that the pipe extends to a location that does not flood the dog park to avoid this issue from continuing to happen.

Yesterday morning, Wednesday August 20, at approximately 11:00 am, I was riding my bike southbound on the B-Line trail through Switchyard Park. In front of me on the trail was a riding lawn mower. As I pulled around to pass the mower on the left, the driver turned left without looking and knocked me off my bicycle. No one was injured, but the front wheel of my bike is wrecked. The incident occurred near light pole BL 29, which appears to have a security camera on it, in case it's helpful to review the camera footage. The operator of the mower is named Larry Norris, he works for Green Dragon Lawncare, under contract to perform maintenance services for the City. If it's possible to have my wheel replaced by their insurance, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi, for many months now, there has been some kind of leak or drainage issue in the large dog area of the Switchyard dog park. I know parks is aware of it, as the two areas of concern have temporary fencing around them, but it is very flimsy and does not keep dogs out. I don't care about my dog getting muddy, but she contracted giardia and required vet care and medication from drinking out of the puddles, which have now been standing for so long, they are green. I understand this may not be an easy fix, but please try? Thank you.

There are two very large and deep muddy puddles in the large dog park area at Switchyard. One is located by the large tree in the center of the park, and the other is located by the sitting area under the green awning. My dog recently got into the muddy water, ate and drank it, and became severely sick for several days. After speaking with several dog owners at the park, this has happened with their dogs too, so it is definitely a health hazard. It is very difficult to keep the dogs away from these areas. This does not seem to be a problem just after rainfall, but most of the time. I ask that they be filled with gravel or fenced off to allow for regrowth and to keep dogs away in the meantime. Hello there I hope that everything is going well there, few weeks ago I notified that this tree is sick and some debris have been fell down, the city told me to ask from duke energy and I did it but Duke energy doesn’t wants to take it down, I just asking to trim it to avoid any accidents because beside of my fence several children walking through the trail sidewalk to go to the next trailerhouses Please be concern about children safety

Just south of the intersection of Rogers and Coolidge the multi-use path on the west side of Rogers is heavily impeded by overgrowth of a tree. This is dangerous. As part of the B-Line detour, this needs to be trimmed back.

There are at least five camps of unhoused individuals along this stretch of trail. They are now clearing the land for firewood and also running generators. There is trash everywhere and almost daily screaming fights that are spilling over into the adjacent Broadview neighborhood, including an assault yesterday, 1/7 on Bryan. What's the long term plan here? The parcels on either side of the trail are owned by Autovest II LLC.
