Please inspect the tree behind the New Hope dumpster that is on Park District strip of land. The tree is severally leaning and resting against another. It might be compromised due to last weeks storm. It might have been responsible for a smashed car windshield. If not there is some dead branches that are a risk to the New Hope staff and client parking on the North side of the property.
Last year I was in contact with Lee Huss via uReport about a tree that needed to be planted (to replace one that died and was removed) in the tree plot by the sidewalk outside 715 West 13th Street. He said he would take care of it this spring. I want to make sure I am still on his radar. Thanks.
The City of Bloomington removed a tree approximately three years ago at the corner of Lincoln and 7th St. We would like to know if the City can plant another tree in that mow strip along 7th Street where the City had removed the tree.
My Father, Mother and two sisters are buried at Rosehill Cemetery. I went to visit their grave last week. The condition around the grave and the grave stone was terrible. It included very spotty grass and a hole that appeared to be a cave in. The headstones also had lichen growing on them. How do I have someone properly maintain the headstones and my family plot?
Hello, we have a Pin Oak tree to the west of our home that was affected by the storm. We wanted to check to see if this tree is on city property. While looking at the GIS it looks like our property line starts at our basketball hoop and the tree is to the west of that line. There are branches that are loose and it looks like there has been a lot of woodpecker activity in the past that is creating damage. Could someone please come out and inspect the tree and let us know what you think? We would love to keep the tree if possible, but safety-wise we would like to have it checked/trimmed up. There is a tree behind my house that looks like it could fall down on my house. I submitted before and was told it wasn’t city tree but we’ve looked into who owns property \ woods behind house and it’s the Cities. My address is 1401 Woodhill Drive, Bloomington IN 47403 the woods right behind my house.
Tree branches have gotten so long they are hanging in the roadway. All through Sweetbriar neighborhood. Cars have to veer out of lane to avoid. High profile vehicles are breaking branches out of the trees. Trees need to be trimmed back so we can drive.
I Googled "Bloomington Rail Trail" and it shows up under the City Parks Department, as I thought was the case. So, I am submitting this report for the City, even though it is along a County road. The crossing of the Rail Trail at Rogers street south of Gordon Pike and north of That Road (which road? That Road) is overgrown on the southeast side of the crossing. When driving on Rogers from the south headed north, it is difficult to see the trail and trail users on the east side of Rogers. People drive fast on this part of Rogers. Can the city clean up this line of sight issue so people are safer crossing the road? Thanks.
