Bryan Park boardwalks are slippery when wet or frosty. I fell and hurt my wrist on the old one, near the rest rooms. I'll be in a cast for at least a month. Please consider treating the boardwalks to reduce the risk. Thanks!
Tree located near street edge is dead and often drops branches in street
Tree located at street edge at 621 S Pleasant Ridge Rd, 47401, appears to be dead and often sheds branches in narrow street.
For the fourth time in the past 18 months, the tulip poplar planted in the easement in 2021 is still dead. It has been dead since March of 2022 when it was reported as dead. The City has ignored this dead tree since it was reported as dead more than a year ago, when the City acknowledged it as dead and slated to be replaced in 2022. It's now 2023 and nothing has happened. This tree is pining for the Fjords!
When will the trees all throughout Rogers that the power company cut down be replaced? These buildings must have to have something get put back, these were nice for the aesthetic and improvement of near downtown.
There is a large tree down across the trail connecting S Basswood Drive and the Twin Lakes Sports Park parking area. I understand the trail may or may not be "official", but it is a well utilized connection by the community regardless and the trail is in good shape besides this downed tree. I was wondering if parks would be able to cut it up to clear the trail as our run club may be utilizing this trail for our route in March? Approximate location of downed tree shown on attached map. Park ridge pickle ball. You can walk on the court and immediately start playing tennis. With pickle ball you have to assemble the net which is time consuming. You have to disassemble it. The light blue line is difficult to see. There is not a center line. Half of the court is on concrete. It is obvious they are making it as difficult to play, to discourage people from playing. It should be even .
The red maple tree (site id 30159?), along the street at 2320 E Woodbine Ave. is not healthy and is becoming a hazard. The top of the tree and many branches are dead. This evening (2/16/23) a large limb fell out of the tree and onto the sidewalk. I tried to attach a photo of the large limb, branches and debris on the sidewalk, but it keeps processing and won't go through. We have cleared the debris and limb from the sidewalk.
The trail that runs around Winslow Park has a large rotted tree that is likely to fall onto the trail. It is roughly where the trail goes behind 2824 s Wexley rd
I've been playing Ultimate Frisbee in this community for a number of years. One of the more prominent, competitive, and fun seasons in the calendar is Winter League shiv has been held at Twin Lakes for a long as I can remember. I've also played in a few soccer outings on that indoor turf and I can only imagine how many other activities take place on the indoor soccer turf. In some years past, the turf was getting a bit past the normal wear-and-tear stage but this year has been ridiculous. There are some patches of the field that have worn down into the concrete below. This is far past unacceptable. Is love to continue to play Ultimate, soccer, and participate in other activities that may use this turf however if the conditions are not improved, I feel that I will need to seek other locations to enjoy these activities
