Flashing pedestrian beacon only one side works
One of the brick slides at Karst Farm park is breaking and causing cuts/scrapes on the backs of legs and bottoms of children.
Caller to HAND reporting a large tree between his property and the neighbors has fallen and blocked the sidewalk and is concerned for safety of those passing near/under a large branch. He thinks that this may be a City-responsible tree and would like to be contacted by phone for follow-up.
Thank you for cleaning the graffiti off of the playground equipment at highland park. There were just a couple of spots missed. One near the large slide steps, and one on the slide.
On the other side of my fence, there is a plot of land connecting to the Highland Village Park. The brush is pushing through my fence and some of it is containing poison oak and poison ivy. As well as dead limbs from where trees were cut by workers after the recent storms. It’s a health and safety concern for my pets, myself, and to the park as it sits right on the trail. I would like to get the brush, or at least the poison oak/poison ivy and fallen tree limbs from that area removed so it will no longer grow through my fence. It would help me provide a much safer environment for my pets and I. Thank you so much, please get back to me whenever possible !
The third swing is broken, the chain is not attached to the pole
There a group of teenage kids riding electric dirt bikes in and around southeast park. From what I can gather these are street legal, and they don't belong in the parks either.
Third Street playground is located on a busy road and the playground is not fenced in on all sides. The younger toddler play set is located right next to an unfenced area that is located very close to the road. While playing today a two year old wondered from the playground into the road after he slid down the slide on the toddler portion of the playground. Luckily there were no cars coming and a bystander stepped in. This could have been prevented if the fence was extreme Ed to include the north end of the playground as well as a fence included between the playground and the small parking lot.
