Water fountain near NE corner of Showers Bldg has not been turned on this year. Additionally, the fountain near the flag pole hasn't worked for years. Water is important for people (and dogs) doing their bit for health and public engagement. If we can't have water, announce a policy and remove the fountains.
Hi, There is a substantial amount of poison ivy along the path that cuts through the middle of Bryan Park, especially toward the east. It's right at dog/toddler height. Could this be eradicated? Thank you.
There are two trees/large branches down in Sherwood Oaks that need to be cut up and moved off the path. Thanks! Kim
Hi. There's a wasp nest in the north-side basketball goal at Winslow Woods Park. The nest is under the rim. Thank you.
One of the two infant swings is broken in Schmalz Farm Park. The broken swing is unsafe and has very sharp edges for little children. Hopefully the swing can be replaced before long.
This is about Sherwood Oaks park-(the link from the webpage for the park itself to Ureport is not working) not Elliston Drive- The growth in the field in this park is getting REALLY tall and woody-is anyone going to come out with a bush hog and cut it all down? You have mowed more in the Goat Farm Park, and you have also cleared out all that brush in the woods between the two parks, so I hope that you plan on mowing in the Sherwood Oaks field soon- Thank you- Kim
Broken!
There are currently no no-smoking signs in the Upper Cascades park. My wife and I were there with our 1 year old daughter last Monday or Tuesday, and were unable to use the swings as two childless adults were smoking on the swing set and declined to move. Can prominent signage be placed to indicate the park/park system is smoke free? I would also update the park rules to be more layman friendly, as they primarily reference federal, state, and city codes (found here https://bloomington.in.gov/documents/viewDocument.php?document_id=7722). The water fountain at third street park is not draining. Also, some of the railings around the decorative fountain are loose at their bases.
