The contractors for the housing development by Bloomingfoods East are constantly using the Bfoods parking lot for staging, contractor parking, and using the access street for the same purpose. They are blocking traffic, and creating dangerous access conditions. Is this part of their traffic plan? If so, somebody in Planning needs to look closer at these plans.

There are two dangerous locations on West Third Street at Landmark and Patterson, which would be greatly improved upon by designating the right lanes at Landmark and Patterson as turn only lanes. The problem is created by indecisive traffic flow within a very short range of road before it splits off near Kleindorfers (West Third [turns into Adams] and Kirkwood. Drivers are constantly trying to anticipate turning cars by either driving in the left lane of West Third for a while and then jumping over to the right in front of other drivers, or by driving in the right lane of West Third and jumping back into the left lane before the street splits at Kleindorfers (Adams and Kirkwood). From West Third and Landmark to West Third and Patterson is approximately 900 feet. From West Third (turns into Adams) and Patterson to split from Adams and Kirkwood is approximately 600 feet. This causes bottleneck cars trying to weave in and out of traffic with in a 900 to 600 foot range. Thank you in advance for your consideration, Janda Bain

Hi, W 3rd just before Roselawn cemetary, there is an alley that leads to 4th St. It would be great to have a sign that faces W with a bike on it pointing toward 4th St. It would help bicyclists coming from Patterson addition and the soon-to-be affordable project at Walker, cycle on 4th St to town and IU rather than going the wrong way on 3rd Street. Bike lanes on both sides of the road are covered with rocks, sand, debris. I am a full time bike computer and use this to travel from Walnut Street Pike to Rogers on a daily basis. Both sides of Rhorer and Gordon Pike need swept from Walnut Street Pike down to Rogers Road.
The corner of Estate Drive and Falcon as you travel east on Falcon. As you approach the stop sign, you cannot see it because tree limbs cover a majority of it. You are right on top of it before you can see it which can be too late, especially your first time or two traveling that way.
Hello, we live in Sherwood Oaks and there is not a safe way to get to the biking trail starting on Rhorer at Walnut Street Pike. People are often walking or biking up the last two blocks of Walnut Street Pike to reach that connection. It's not safe. We'd be so grateful if the sidewalk could be completed on the East Side of Walnut Street Pike between Rhorer and Heather Drive. This would allow people to access Kroger and the Rail Trail more safely. Other wishlist items are paving the rail-trail that connects the B-Line and Clear Creek Trail,and extending sidewalks along Rhorer all the way from Walnut Street Pike to Sare (or at least to Benson). It would also be nice if the sidewalk along the East Side of Walnut Street Pike extended all the way from Rhorer to Winslow, but finishing a sidewalk on the E or W side of Walnut Street Pike between E. Heather and Rhorer is really essential to pedestrian and biker safety. We love all of the investments we're seeing Bloomington making in parks, recreation and infrastructure. We really value this as a family with young children. We're just surprised how patchy the sidewalks surrounding our neighborhood are, with some suddenly stopping (Walnut Street Pike + Rhorer) and others reworked only to a certain point (example biking from Winslow Plaza east to Highland or Allendale is challenging). This makes it difficult to access all of the new paved biking/walking trails that connect to the Rail Trail and B-Line. I would like to inquire about requesting a stop sign put up along s walnut street pike where it intersects with E Allendale Dr. I have been a resident at the barclay square apartments for going on three years now. Cars tend to speed down walnut street pike past my apartment complex. This makes it difficult for me and those on allendale to pull out onto the road. I have not witnessed any accidents so that is not a concern, just streamlining the traffic in that area and resident safety due to speeding.
