Side walk on the west side of Rogers just south of 11th Street. It is a temporary driveway for construction staging I think for parking garages. I don't know what to do. What do you want me to do? The walk has never been clear. There is always been sand. Today there is a quarter inch of sand. And those big rocks/barriers have been blocking the drive since Friday. So no cars have gone over it all weekend, but there has been sand left there all weekend also. Is this just how it's supposed to be? should I give up expecting a safe pedestrian environment for my children? I don't know what to do. Please tell me what to do. I can sweep it up and put it in a bucket if you need to demonstrate that there is a real volume of material -- I will probably be able to carry the bucket but I guarantee you it'll weigh several pounds. What should I do? This isn't my job. I just walk here to take my kids to fairview elementary
Public sidewalk is obstructed by tree and flora overgrowth. Not pruned to 8 ft for sidewalk, not pruned to 15 ft for street.
North side of 2nd St: 1210 E 2nd Sidewalk blocked by sandbags and damaged concrete that is a tripping hazard.
I see people fell down
This morning I was bike commuting to work when I had a near miss at the intersection of Smith Road and Morningside. A car on Smith Road going towards 10th St. did not give me the right of way. Luckily I never assume a car would give me the right of way at a stop intersection so I was able to stop in time. These events occur sometimes on my commute. However, I decided to contact you because the same happened yesterday, another car, another time of the day. Would it be possible to place extra signage in that area, e.g. Beware of bicycles and pedestrian?
low hanging tree branches and bushes blocking sidewalk. one branch looks dangerous.
DO NOT MAKE MAJOR ARTERIES TWO WAY!!!!! That proposal is insane. The people that proposed it don't live here and clearly never have traveled Walnut and College when trucks are blocking two of the three lanes. Atwater and third also should not be changed as Third is a parade of buses and the only lane able to be traveled is the left one. I hope you don't pay the Toole people. Those suggestions are not feasible and will make going downtown something no one will do any more. Insanity!
I am very much opposed to the city considering a corridor from thoroughfare from Maple to 7th Street to Fairview Street to 17th Street. Fairview School is at the corner of Fairview and 7th. The safety of school children is more at risk. Fairview Street is very narrow with barely 2 cars being able to pass. My understanding is that 7th Street is also being considered as a green corridor welcoming more bicycling which I think is a good idea but contrary to the former proposed idea of making the corner of Fairview Street busier. Thank you.
My friends and l rode the Clear Creek Trail, and finished at Tapp Rd, turned left to Weimer Rd where our map said we would find a signed bike route. I saw a narrow street. A driver at the corner said there was no bike route on Weimer. Did l miss some marker?
