Retaining wall is collapsing onto sidewalk, blocking wheelchair use. Owner has not maintained wall - pieces have been haphazardly thrown back onto the property over the last couple years since the house degenerated into a rental.
Accessibility Issue: Crumbling Sidewalk. This intersection has no curb cut which forces wheelchair users to go out into the street, which is a traffic hazard and dangerous. Please fix.

The sidewalk in front of this complex (Townhouses on 10th) does not have ramps, just curbs, to cross the driveway to the complex. There is also a sunken area east of the complex entrance that is completely buried in dirt now (I'm not sure if it is on their property or on Woodbridge's, it is between). This makes it very difficult to walk through this area with a stroller and also makes it inaccessible to anyone unable to step down or up on a curb (and when it rains, the dirt-covered area turns into mud and gets pretty slick). There are some other areas that have shifted so the sidewalk is no longer even as well.
We recently had a tree removed from the spot shown, as well as having a tree trimmed on the other side of our driveway. The tree that was removed was rotted out as it was deemed unsafe. We moved to this location in 2019 with a new baby on the way. Fast forward 2 years and just after the tree was removed by the City of Bloomington, our now 2 y/o plays in front of our house and has now fallen multiple times because of the drop off on the sidewalk due to the tree roots that have lifted the sidewalk. Additionally, small animals have now made this area their home. This is the same problem on the opposite side of our driveway by the electrical boxes due to overgrown root systems of trees that were frankly too large to plant in there specific spots.The lift in the sidewalk from the tree roots has caused a major trip/fall hazards that are at least a 6in drop. Please advise.

The people who live at 712 E Hunter Ave constantly throw glass bottles from their porch into a dumpster that is not theirs. Most of the time they miss on purpose and shatter glass all through the alley and road making it terrible for me to drive on. I have yelled at them but they still continue to do it multiple times through the week almost every night now. Tonight after their party they threw being loud until 2:30 am they shattered multiple bottles and I watched them throw them straight into the road. This is unacceptable and dangerous to not only our cars but all of the people who walk through here. This has been happening for MONTHS. I’ve tried to let it slide because I didn’t know if it was them but now tonight I watched them throw them straight from their porch. If you drive by tomorrow there will probably be glass shattered all over the alley/road. This is the only way for me to exit my parking so this is very inconvenient.
Hello, I am the facilities manager of Trinity Episcopal Church (111 s Grant Street). A while back our gas meter was moved by (then Vectren) in conjunction with the Culvert work that is ongoing by Milestone. They moved the meter from the back of our building where it was safe - to the corner where it is in a precarious position. In doing so they have compromised the sidewalk, causing the corner to crack and one of the metal plates to raise up forming a lip - which has been reported to me as being a tripping hazard. I've asked numerous times to have the area addressed (specifically the meter itself) and have been ignored by (now) Centerpoint. The sidewalk deterioration is just the latest part of the failure to sensibly relocate that meter in a safe manner. Does the Street department address this? And who can I talk to about the meter itself? It is exposed to Traffic traveling through the alley and will be damaged at some point by a large truck. Sidewalk ends at creek, forcing pedestrians to cross busy road with no crosswalk or walk on the road. With Switchyard Park, pedestrian traffic is now much higher. Sidewalk needs to be continuous here.
See also closed case #177224 of Sept. 1, 2021. Sidewalk is flaking. 700 S Eastside Drive (corner lot) Nothing was done to repair this. House is for sale again now. Maybe a good time to insist that it be fixed.
